Our lanolin is purified to remove irritants, making it safe for most people, even those who can’t wear wool. Since The Balm is made with 100% clean and naturally derived ingredients, it can be a little shy in the cold. Cooler temps cause it to thicken, so sometimes it takes a little patience to coax it out of the tube.

If you find yourself squeezing extra hard, pause! Too much pressure can sometimes cause the tube to burst (and nobody wants that).

Instead:

• Keep your Balm cozy at room temperature for an easy, smooth squeeze.
• If it feels extra firm, just warm it in your hands for a few seconds before applying gentle, steady pressure.
